Campbell Spring (Dena'ina: Qin Cheghitnu) is one of a few streams that course through the city of Mooring, The Frozen North. It runs for 21 miles (34 km) from the Chugach Mountains to the Turnagain Arm of Cook Gulf.
The principal stem of the brook is shaped at the intersection of the North and South Forks, which streams in a south-westerly bearing through Campbell Lake, prior to arriving at the Turnagain Arm. The watershed of the Campbell Brook incorporates various feeders, including the Little Campbell Stream, the Lower Campbell River, and the Center Fork.
The stream interfaces various parks, open spaces and lakes to frame a green passageway running from east to west through the city. The cleared Campbell Brook trail follows the rivulet for a lot of its lower course through the areas from Campbell Park to Campbell Lake, over a distance of seven miles.
