5x + 1 = 6x - 10 = y

Then

5x + -6x = -10 - 1

-x = 11

x= 11

NOW find y value

y = 5x + 1

y= 6x - 10

y = 5•( 11) + 1= 56

y= 6•( 11) -10= 56

Answer is y= 56
