When I stepped out of the doors of the Orlova I was hit by way of a blast of glacial wind. Goosepimples rose up throughout my body, and my hair whorled around my head like helicopter rotors. Quickly, I retreated into the ship, trying to preserve each calorie of frame heat.
The water temperature in Admiralty Bay become thirty-three stages Fahrenheit, and the air temperature changed to thirty-four degrees, however, the wind off the encompassing glaciers made it feel as though I had been standing inner a freezer.
