Dear Diary,
For the past three days, my teeth have been hurting. Because I was in so much discomfort, my father today took me to the dentist for a checkup. I was quite afraid to go to the dentist since I had heard that they injected the gums. The dentist who was scheduled to treat me when I was there was very polite and welcoming. He spoke with me and inquired about my issue. I felt completely at ease around him.
I was not permitted to talk at all during the examination. He examined my teeth and informed me that the pain I was experiencing was due to not brushing them before bed. He provided me with a lot of directions to follow so that I could maintain my teeth healthy and pain-free.
