Why is the moon’s force of gravity less than that of the earth?
Since the moon has a smaller mass than the earth, the moon has less gravity than the earth. Gravity is related to mass.
Larger mass = larger gravity
Smaller mass = lesser gravity
Moon has small mass, therefore less gravity.
