Well, one of the ways I make my stories longer is by describing something in great detail for example the character's hair " their hair was long/short with a silky shimmer on the top layer of their h/c hair when they walk through the glowing sun" it and a better way for the reader to picture the character and how the other characters look at them. It also helps with longer chapters and makes the readers want to read more. P.S. whats the story your writing called?
