  • PR = 4x - 10
  • PQ + QR = PR
  • or, x + (2x + 4) = 4x - 10
  • or, 3x + 4 = 4x - 10
  • or, 4 + 10 = 4x - 3x
  • or, x = 14
  • Therefore, PR = 4x - 10 = 4(14) - 10 = 56 - 10 = 46
