So if you need it as a simplified mixed fraction you just have to turn 2.333333… into a fraction that would give you -2 1/3.
The reason for this is if you subtract 2 1/3 and 4 he would get -1.666666… then if you multiply that by 1.4 then you would get -2.33333333…. And then if you want to put that as a fraction you have to leave the negative two alone and turn 0.333333… into a fraction which would respectively be 1/3. Then finally you could add to the -2 and 1/3 together and then he would get your answer which is -2 1/3… hope this helps pal
