Answer: Hello! When a graph is translated 4 units down you are moving all of the y values. This makes it the easiest translation that we do, other than no translation! All you have to do is subtract 4. Your equation is y=x2 - 4. If you wanted to move the graph up it is addition and if you want to move it down it is subtraction.
