"I believe that if we did not have the flag burn, it wouldn't bring the same principles of the first amendment." If it was never burned, then the laws of today would be quite different. It's not like it had the biggest impact known to man, but it definitely helped the way we look at the amendments today and how we can look at the future of America.

I do not personally think an amendment to the Constitution would pass in order to prohibit flag burning, although I would agree with it. Although there are laws preventing any disrespect to the USA flag, and those should be followed to the fullest. Preventing people from burning the US flag would not infringe on their first amendment rights in my opinion.
