After getting hit by a meteorite, Susan Murphy turns into a giant on her wedding day. She is recruited by the government to join a team of monsters in order to defeat an evil alien named Gallaxhar. She wants to return to normal, but she knows without her help, the world will perish. After much deliberation, she decides to join the team and save the world.
