Alex gets a rather large wart on one of her fingers. Based on a story her aunt told her,
she cuts up a potato, rubs it on the wart, and then buries it under the light of a full
moon. The next week, her wart shrinks and eventually vanishes. Jane writes to her
aunt to tell her how right he was about the cure.
