Carbohydrates provides quick energy which can be broken down into glucose molecules that can be taken by the cell and the mitochondria of the cell broken down the glucose molecules in order to produce ATP molecules while on the other hand, protein are broken down into amino acids which is used in the formation of muscles in the body.
