The best way to see if a brainstormed idea will work for a topic is to see if it causes you to:
A.get into loud debates.
B.stop brainstorming.
C.ask a lot of questions.
D.think of other topics.
It is always good to ask questions. Then you will know if it will work once all of your questions are answered. Or that other people don't have questions about it, and are confident about the idea.
