To write a poem you have to choose one: expression, a place, a feeling etc. Poems normally have lots of detail. Heres a example:
a poem about a place:
The salty wind brushed through my face
While i walk on the deserted beach,
Nothing but the sound of waves,
The sand was full of cracked shells,
Not a single sound came,
In the foggy mist of this cold beach.
