The microscope is an essential tool in Biology. It provides us with important data on specimens being examined.
The (1) has various magnification (5x, 10x, 12.5x, 15x) which attaches to the body tube. On the other hand, the
revolving nose piece are attached by (2) with 10x, 40x and 100x magnifications.
In preparing a wet mount, place the specimen in a (3)

seen in the microscope downward while turning the stage knob to the left will move the specimen to the right as seen
under the microscope. Finally, the specimen when seen under the microscope appears (10)

Objectives of the microscope have magnification (5x, 10x, 12.5x, 15x) which attaches to the body tube. The nosepiece is found between the stage and the eyepiece or ocular lens. Glass slide is the slide where a specimen is placed for the study and covered with a coverslip, bubble should be avoided while placing the coverslip.

Mirrors need to adjust to seeing the field of view by adjusting the light. After computing the magnification there would be a final image of the specimen that would be inverted due to the two lens used here.
