Preamble to the U.S. Constitution
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

This is how I would rewrite the Preamble so that other people can understand it. I hope it helps increase support for the new Constitution.

Explanation: The confederation could not require states to pay taxes

Weakness #2: Foreign Affairs in Shambles

Ex: Foreign countries distrusted the confederation because it had no power of the purse to back its agreements.

Weakness #3 Tariff Wars(tax wars)
Ex: Each state charged rival states a tariff on imported goods.

Dear People of the U.S.A

In order to make a better country we must create fair laws, make sure our country is at peace, provide military defense, and make everyone happier!
