Emperor penguins are the largest of all penguins. They live in Antarctica on the ice and in the freezing ocean water. Instead of wings, they have flippers and are flightless birds. Emperor penguins depend on the sea ice to obtain food. They also use the ice as a place to breed. Climate change has caused a decrease in the population of these beautiful creatures. Warmer temperatures have caused the sea ice to melt. As a result, the penguins are running out of places to find food and breed.
