they wouldnt be whole numbers because there are opposites involved, but they wouldnt be just classified as rational because they have the requirements to be classified as integers
An integer is any whole number (negative or positive) that is not either a decimal or a fraction. A whole number is all the positive whole numbers including 0. A Rational Number can be made by dividing two integers. (An integer is a number with no fractional part.)
